他只问何处尚有不足
The petty person measures profit
小人以利益为标尺
The noble person measures righteousness
君子以道义为准则

小人在以何人位居其上
The noble person asks what stands within
君子关注内心秉持何物
The petty person hates correction
小人厌恶他人指正
The noble person keeps a place for shame
君子常怀知耻之心
The petty person decorates himself with learning
小人以学识装点自身
